May it be due to the effect of 'Baahubali', Prince Mahesh's 'Srimanthudu's rights have also gone to a whopping price of Rs.3 crores. However, the movie could make it just Rs.40 lakhs share at the end of its first week run in Tamil Nadu and betokened that it's going to be the disaster in Kollywood.
But then, the movie is continuing its dream run at US box office. The movie has taken US box office by storm since the date of its release. The movie has raked in $2.429,412, gross at the end of its 9 days run and crossed Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth’s Enthiran (Robo) $2,408,824. Interestingly, Enthiran collected this gross in all of its versions while 'Srimanthudu pocketed these collections through its Telugu version alone.
Mahesh is busy attending the promotions of 'Srimanthudu' right now. His new movie 'Brahmotsavam's regular shoot will kick start soon. The movie is expected to be released next summer.
