Types of Hypes of Movies

Every filmmaker wishes his movie gets Hyped at sufficient levels before its release to ensure proper pre release business done to it. While some films get Hyped due to many interesting reasons, some more films fail to generate good Hype before they get released in cinemas. Following are the types of Hypes generated on movies as per analysts. 

* Hype BASED ON HERO'S IMAGE: In this case the producers need not pay much on promotions of their movies as the Hype is automatically gets engendered due to hero's terrific image. eg: 82 years of Tollywood's history witnessed phenomenal Hype on a few movies before their releases. 'Muthamesthri', 'Johnny' etc. are the best examples. 'Kondaveeti Simham', 'Prem Nagar' etc. films of yesteryears were some more examples.

* Hype BASED ON TECHNICIANS IMAGE: There are some movies which get Hyped in greater quarters due to the image of the directors, music directors and a couple of other technicians. eg: A few movies of Shankar, Maniratnam, AR Rehaman etc.

* FORCED Hype BY MEDIA: There are some more movies which are made with huge budget by the filmmakers. However, some of those films may not get enough craze maybe due to their cast or their genres. Then media comes to the rescue of such films as producers spend big bucks on part of promotions. Some times the publicity may go overboard with non stop live coverage of films functions, full page ads in newspapers etc. 

BOTTOM-LINE: Hype on movies does good for some times while it does bad for some more times. The producers must be careful and strategic creating an organized Hype so as to get their movies to reach safer destinations.
