'Rudhramadevi' in Risk?

Polymath Gunasekhar's 'Rudhramadevi' was earlier supposed to be released on June 26. However, the makers have reportedly postponed the release of the movie since 3D computer graphics work is yet to be completed. Gunasekhar is taking all the enough care in VFX work to make the movie a magnum opus.

However, postponement of 'Rudhramadevi' has not gone down well with the fans of Gunasekhar. If the movie is released on July first week, there will be little gap between Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' and 'Rudhramadevi'. As such the makers of 'RD' may not prefer that release date. Since Prince Mahesh's 'Srimanthudu' is slated for release on July 17, 'RD' cannot be released on the same date. If the movie gets postponed further, it would do greater damage for the makers due to the delay. 

On the other hand, some of the analysts feel that the success or failure result of 'Baahubali' may affect the fate of 'Rudhramadevi' negatively due to the delay of rhe release of 'RD'. If 'Baahubali' gets hit talk, audiences may prefer to watch 'Baahubali' rather 'RD'. If 'Baahubali' carries negative talk, people may feel these genres of movies might not entertain them. Such that the best possible release date of 'Rudhramadevi' for now is July 3 in spite of the heavy competition from 'Baahubali'.
