Looks like the talks between the employees unions and the CM, which were held on 9th October, have been successful. The power sector employees called off their strike temporarily in view of cyclonic storm Phailan that is expected to hit the Bay of Bengal tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the discussions between the government and the associations of teachers held on the evening of 10th October and were successful. The teachers accepted to call off their strike and are joining their duties tomorrow. Moreover, the discussions between RTC employees and the government are going on in a fruitful way. On the other hand, the Ap Ngos will have wide range of discussions among themselves on either 11th or 112th of this month. It is interesting to see whether they call off their strike or continue it for some more days.
