Power Star Pawan Kalyan's blockbuster film 'Gabbar Singh' collected a full run share of Rs.69.57 crores. Looks like, the figure is rounded off to Rs.70 crores now. Surprised! Looking into the details, it's a customary, on the night of every 'Maha Shivaratri', midnight shows of super hit films and devotional films are screened in almost all the theaters across the state. For this 'Shivaratri', most of the theaters were screened with 'Gabbar Singh' film with packed houses. Since Pawan Kalyan is a universal hero, no difference in A, B,C or D centers and everywhere we could see 'Gs' hawa in the state then. One can estimate the movie might have collected a share of Rs.40 lakhs to Rs.50 lakhs on this occasion. And finally, the movie's total share would be Rs.70 crores. "However, we should not add up these special collections to the full run collections of the movie as per the tradition," say the sources.
Apart from 'Gabbar Singh', Ram Charan's 'Rachcha', Nagarjuna's 'Dhamarukam'( devotional film category) were screened in good number of screens across the state on the night of Shivaratri.
