TDP to announce list six months in advance

A day after party senior leader Dadi Veerabhadra Rao expressed his dissatisfaction over the list of MLC candidates, TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu has said that he would announce the candidates for assembly and Lok Sabha 2014 elections six months in advance.

“This would help the candidates to work closely keeping in view the local conditions which will pave way for success,’ he said during his Vasthunna Meekosam padayatra here on Monday. He reviewed the party position and gave a pep talk on how to face the elections and boosted the cadre self confidence. He gave suggestions to the cadre on the future course of action.

It was only yesterday, that senior leader Dadi Veerabhadra Rao expressed resentment over not approving his name for MLC post.

Addressing the party workers he said both Congress and YSR Congress are working hand in hand. The latter has supported Congress candidate Pranab Mukherjee during the President election, he said. Their leaders are frequenting Delhi to get YS Jagan Mohan Reddy released, he said.

Eluru constituency in-charge Ambika Krishna, MLA D V Sivarama Raju, TV Rama Rao, C Prabhakar, B Seshagiri Rao and others participated in the meeting.
