Changing interviews trend in Tollywood

Few decades back top stars never used to promote their films. At times they used to participate in audio functions and very rarely they used to interact with media. However, things chaanged. Seeing how Bollywood stars like Aamir Khan through promotions increasing his films reach, Tollywood stars also started participating in the promotions.

Mahesh Babu who used to be reserved, also started participating in the promos. Mid range heroes also started pushing their films and media chitchats and one to one interviews increased. But now once again star heroes are not getting accessed to media.

Only small films and their heroes are giving interviews but others started staying away from them. Many feel they donot like to answer the questions posed by the media or the controversy their comments may trigger on social media. But they are not stopping promoting their films. Instead of giving interviews to media, the film unit are giving common interviews to anchors like Suma.

They are giving the same feed to all the media and finishing the formalities. This is saving them considerable time and they feel that this is saving them of numerous headaches. They are following the strategy started by Rajamouli.
