Schedule delays caused by Malayalam actors Fahadh Faasil and Dulquer Salmaan are raising concerns among Telugu producers. Despite commanding hefty paychecks, both actors have reportedly failed to complete their commitments in Telugu films, prompting worries about production schedules and costs.

"While Malayalam stars are known for their professionalism, recent events have raised eyebrows," a source reveals. "Telugu producers are willing to pay top dollar to attract the right talent, but these delays are causing significant disruptions."

Fahadh Faasil, who drew praise for his performance in "Pushpa: The Rise," has reportedly not finished his work on the film. Similarly, Dulquer Salmaan has postponed several schedules for "Lucky Bhaskar" due to prior commitments.

Both actors command a fee of ₹4 to ₹5 crore per film, significantly higher than what they typically earn in Malayalam cinema.

Dulquer Salmaan, in particular, has gained widespread popularity among Telugu audiences after his impressive performances in films like "Mahanati" and "Sita Ramam." He is now being offered leading roles in Telugu films, capitalizing on his charisma and talent. His special appearance in "Kalki 2898 AD" further cemented his popularity.

Fahadh Faasil, known for his powerful performances, plays a pivotal role in "Pushpa: The Rule." However, his inability to allocate more dates for the sequel has caused production delays, adding significant financial strain to the already massive budget film.

Previously, Malayalam stalwarts like Mammootty and Mohanlal have set a precedent for professionalism in Telugu films, showcasing their dedication to completing their commitments in projects like "Yatra" and "Janatha Garage," respectively.

The source concludes, "We hope the new generation of Malayalam actors will follow the example set by their predecessors and prioritize completing their commitments, ensuring smoother production processes and minimizing financial burdens for Telugu producers."
