Bollywood Greek God Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar have come a long way in the film industry. The duo has only given blockbusters with their collaborations. Back in 2004, they collaborated for their first film ‘Lakshya’ that created many records.
In 2009, they once again came together for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Luck By Chance’ and in 2011, the actors paired for the timeless classic ‘Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara’. The film went on to receive cult classic status with time and is one of the most loved and re-watched movies in Bollywood.
Recently, Lakshya completed 20 years and was re-released for fans at a few theatres. On the occasion, Farhan Akhtar opened up about working with Hrithik Roshan and shared a big update on ZNMD 2. Speaking about the much anticipated sequel Farhan says, " 100%, I mean, we meet so often, we talk about this all the time, but it is important… see there is an enthusiasm to work together, there is an excitement to work together, but it is also important that the film, the story be the right one. We all keep each other in the check,”
He also said, " I am very hopeful that within a year or two years, hopefully that, we’ll find something we can do. We all want the sequel to happen as it’s a loved film. The audiences have owned the film. We all hope that Zoya will come up with something for the sequel. It’s her brainchild, so we hope,” Farhan added.
