Reason behind Adivi Sesh name change

In the realm of Tollywood, where only a handful of actors venture into writing stories for their films, Adivi Sesh stands out as one of the notable talents. His career took a significant turn with the release of "Kshanam," and since then, he has been soaring higher and higher. The audience eagerly awaits every film of his, recognizing the unique creativity he brings to the table. 

Surprisingly, Adivi Sesh's real name is Sunny Chandra, as he disclosed in an interview. However, he made a conscious decision to change it for a specific reason. During his time in the States, he faced teasing due to his name. People would associate his name with the orange-flavored drink "Sunny Delight" and the popular figure Sunny Leone. These circumstances led to young boys mocking him, solely because his name contained "Sunny."

In response to the continuous teasing, Adivi Sesh decided to address the issue with his father. His father revealed that his name actually included "Sesh" as well and encouraged him to use it instead. This revelation surprised him, as he was unaware of this aspect of his name. His father had been inspired by the legendary Sunil Gavaskar and named him "Sunny" in admiration. 

With this new understanding, Adivi Sesh began incorporating "Sesh" into his name. Upon returning to India, he realized that "Sesh" was a more common name than he had initially thought.
