Abhishek Bachchan buys 6 apartments in Mumbai

Actor Abhishek Bachchan has made a significant real estate investment, acquiring six apartments in Mumbai's Borivali area for a total of Rs 15.42 crore. The properties, located in Oberoi Realty's prestigious Oberoi Sky City project, span a combined area of 4,894 sq ft and were purchased at a rate of Rs 31,498 per sq ft.

According to documents accessed by Zapkey.com, the sale agreement was finalized in May. The apartments, situated on the 57th floor of a high-rise along the Western Express Highway in Borivali East, were reportedly purchased individually, with prices ranging from Rs 79 lakh to Rs 3.52 crore.  

The building has recently received an occupation certificate, signifying its readiness for occupancy.  This investment follows Abhishek's sale of a Worli apartment, also developed by Oberoi Realty, for Rs 45.75 crore in August 2021. He had originally purchased the Worli property in 2014 for over Rs 41 crore. Interestingly, Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput also own an apartment in the same building.

While Abhishek currently resides with his parents, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, at their iconic residence, Jalsa, his latest acquisition signifies his strategic investment in prime real estate. This move further solidifies his position as a prominent figure in the Indian film industry and the world of real estate.
