Raima Sen Is Being Threatend For Doing Maa Kaali

In this age of social media, everyone is voicing out their opinions. While some are constructive and meaningful even though they fall under criticism, many are resorting to troll, abuse and even threaten people or issues if they don't like anything. The latest victim of that trolling and threats is Raima Sen. The actress has been receiving threatening calls on her landline number for quite some time now.

Going into the details, the reason behind these threats is Raima is currently doing a film titled 'Maa Kaali'. The film delves into the backdrop of the communal violence of August 16, 1946, known in history as the ‘Direct Action Day’ or ‘1946 Calcutta Killings’. The film is being produced by People Media Factory in Vijay Yelakanti's direction. 

Recently, makers released several posters of the film. As per reports, some unknown people have been constantly calling Raima on her home’s landline and threatening her since the posters of the film came out. Raima informed that the threats are coming her way both in Bengali and Hindi. The actress reportedly is shocked to learn the extent of the threats that she is receiving.

Raima, Suchitra Sen’s granddaughter stays with her parents in Kolkata. Last year, the film ‘The Vaccine War’, directed by Vivek Agnihotri and starring Raima, was released. Raima also did a Telugu film with Nithiin in 'Dhairyam' directed by Teja.
