Rajinikanth To Do Guest Role Again In Daughter Directorial

Superstar Rajinikanth's latest film 'Lal Salaam' was released on 9th February where he played an extended guest role directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The film is facing severe criticism for the way underutilising Rajinikanth's stardom in a casual role. Now, reports are rife that once again Thalaivar gave his nod to do a guest role for his another daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth's Directorial.

Rajinikanth is all set to make a special appearance in his younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth’s upcoming film. The film, which is yet to be titled, will star Raghava Lawrence as the lead actor and will be an action-packed entertainer. Soundarya Rajinikanth, who made her directorial debut with the animation film Kochadaiiyaan, featuring her father in the lead role, is now gearing up for her second venture. 

According to sources, the film will have Rajinikanth in an extended cameo role. The film is currently in the pre-production stage and the official announcement will be made soon. The film is expected to go on floors later this year and will be produced by a reputed banner. The cast and crew details are yet to be revealed. It's worth mentioning that Raghava Lawrence is a devoted fan of the Superstar, and they never get to work together in a movie, and this film hopefully brings the collaboration successfully.  

Rajinikanth, who is busy with his commitments, has recently returned from the shooting of his film Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanvel. The film is slated to release this year and will feature Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan and others in pivotal roles.
