The makers of the film, featuring Young Tiger Jr NTR, are aiming for a deal worth Rs 150 crores in the two Telugu states, given Jr NTR's peak popularity and his collaboration with renowned filmmaker Koratala Siva for an action-packed adventure. However, as of now, the deals are yet to be finalized, according to a distributor.

"The makers anticipate selling the film for Rs 50 crores in the Nizam region, Rs 70 crores in Andhra, and Rs 30 crores in the Ceded region. The delay in closing deals is attributed to distributors taking time to fulfill advance payments," the distributor explains. Undoubtedly, Jr NTR is riding on the massive success of "RRR" and aims to recreate the magic with "Devara."

His fan base spans various audience segments, from youngsters to masses, women to family audiences, making him a significant crowd puller among Telugu stars. The distributor highlights that Jr NTR is expected to generate sensational openings and maintain audience interest with his stellar performance, along with showcasing his physical prowess to overcome his adversaries.

Distributors from Kerala have also entered Hyderabad to secure distribution rights in the Telugu states. "Distributors from Kerala have a robust network and are looking to collaborate with local distributors. They made significant profits by releasing 'Baahubali 2' in Kerala, and now, they aim to establish a presence in the Telugu states," the source informs. However, negotiations are ongoing between Telugu distributors and the makers, who, being a home production for Jr NTR, are not in a rush. The source predicts that the deals could be finalized in the next two days, considering the film's scheduled release in April.
