When Bobby Deol got disgusted with Animal. Bobby Deol has become a focal point of media attention since the release of his latest movie, Animal. In a recent interview, the actor openly expressed his initial discomfort portraying a controversial character in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial venture.

Admitting to feeling 'disgusted' with himself during the filming process, Bobby Deol reflected on his evolving perspective, acknowledging that he was, after all, embodying a character. He went on to share that despite enacting intense scenes with certain individuals, he found it normal to share an evening meal with them afterward.

During a roundtable discussion , Bobby provided insights into his character in Animal, labeling it as "family-oriented" and "romantic." Contrary to the conventional notion of a villain, he portrayed his character as a traumatized individual who witnesses his grandfather's suicide, losing his voice as a result. The character is depicted as deeply connected to family, demonstrating romantic aspects with three wives and a commitment to protecting them at any cost.

Animal, released on December 1, revolves around the toxic relationship between a man and his father. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film portrays Vijay (played by Ranbir) as an anti-hero striving to gain approval from his emotionally distant father (played by Anil Kapoor). Despite his relentless efforts, Vijay's relationship struggles impact his connection with his wife, played by Rashmika Mandanna.

The film has faced criticism for allegedly glorifying misogyny and toxic masculinity from various social media users. However, despite these controversies, Animal has proven to be a box office success, surpassing the Rs 500 crore mark in India. The film's financial success suggests that it has resonated with audiences, even as it sparks discussions around its thematic choices and character portrayals.
