Interesting details about Animal OTT version. Ranbir Kapoor's much-anticipated film, 'Animal,' recently received an 'A' certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), hinting at its intense and mature content. Surprising fans with its substantial runtime of 3 hours, the film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, promises an immersive experience into the complex father-son dynamic portrayed by Ranbir and Anil Kapoor. Adding to the intrigue, reports indicate that the OTT version is set to be even longer, extending to 3 hours and 21 minutes.

In response to queries about the extended duration, Ranbir Kapoor reassured audiences, stating, “The story of 'Animal' requires this amount of time to reach the audience. We saw the first cut that was 3 hours and 49 mins and we were entertained. Don't be panicked by the length and just come experience cinema at its best.”

Interestingly, the initial plan was to release the longer version in theaters with two intervals, but the decision was deemed risky. In response to concerns from distributors, some scenes were edited to bring down the theatrical runtime to 3 hours and 21 minutes.

The forthcoming OTT version is anticipated to retain the originally intended extended runtime, offering viewers a more comprehensive and immersive narrative experience. With a stellar cast that includes Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles, 'Animal' explores uncharted territories in the realm of relationships and promises to be a cinematic spectacle.

Scheduled for a theatrical release on December 1, 'Animal' is set to clash with Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur.' Originally slated for an August release, the decision to postpone was influenced by potential clashes with other major releases, underlining the strategic thinking of the director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Following the success of 'Kabir Singh,' 'Animal' marks Vanga's second foray into Bollywood, heightening anticipation for the film's unique narrative and cinematic flair.
