Jailer targets young star, will it work? Super Star Rajinikanth's Jailer is releasing on 10 August 2023. Rajinikanth promoted the film in a huge manner and the makers are upping the ante with hours before the release. Rajinikanth is fading into oblivion and his last films Kochadaiyan, Lingaa, Kaala, Kabali,2.0, Petta, Darbar, and Annate turned out to be disasters.

Rajinikanth is pinning all his hopes on this film and if it doesn't do well, it will be difficult for him to revive is sagging fortunes at the box office. Rajinikanth after the previous debacles, decided to team with Nelson Dilip Kumar who scored a hit with Kolamavu Kokila and Doctor. He did a film with Thalapathy Vijay titled Beast.

It is known that Vijay has a mass following and though Beast did not do well as expected, it got good collections at the box office. Rajini will promoting his film, said after Beast result, many warned him against doing a film with Nelson but he had a talk with producers who said though The Beast flopped, the content was good.

This infuriated fans Vijay and they are up in arms against Rajinikanth for calling their hero's film a flop. Many feel that Rajini who is a fading star is targeting mass stars like Vijay to get collections for Jailer But the question is will this kind of promotions works? Masses love to watch Rajini's films and they include Vijay's fans also and if Vijay's fans decide not to watch Jailer, then Rajini's collections will get effected.
