Who is misfiring between Jagan and Chiranjeevi?  Mega Star Chiranjeevi's comments during Waltair Veerayya 200 days celebrations and just ahead of his film Bholaa Shankar's release snowballed into a huge controversy. This is resulting in a full-fledged war between YSRCP supporters and Mega fans.

Chiranjeevi raised valid points regarding the problems faced by the industry and while advising the ruling YSRCP in AP and CM Jagan to concentrate on developing the state and talking about special status and completing the pending projects, he also confessed that politics is like an ocean compared to the film industry.

But ministers have taken a serious exception and went ballistic on Chiranjeevi. What is more shocking is, as expected the AP government targeted Bholaa Shankar, refusing permission for ticket rate hikes in theatres in the state.

Now the question is who is misfiring Chiranjeevi and Jagan. Many are of the opinion that Chiranjeevi misfired as it would impact his film's collections. But mega fans say it is better later than never for Chiranjeevi as he maintained stoic silence when YSRCP targeted his brother Pawan Kalyan and his films Vakeel Saab, Bheemla Nayak and more recently BRO and even abused his mother Anjana Devi.

Coming to CM Jagan, even if he or his ministers are misfiring, he got nothing to lose as fans of film heroes can influence or change the verdict in the coming elections and this was proven many times as though Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeeevi enjoyed huge support, their fans did not vote for them and they suffered defeats in the political battle field. CM Jagan and YSRCP knows all these caste equations and social reengineering and so they are not bothered and opposition parties like Chandra Babu's TDP and BJP did not support Chiranjeevi and even fans of other stars remained silent on the entire issue. Had they spoken in support of Chiranjeevi, things would have been completely different.
