I had differences with Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu over the issue of Telangana, revealed Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Saturday.
Doing a lot of introspection on the results of by–elections, Nagam said ``the differences were so open that I did not even attend Mahanadu. I advised the party leaders and asked them not to field candidates for the byelections but they did not pay heed to me.
''So I did not even campaign for the TDP during the bypolls,'' he observed.Nagam appealed to the people of Telangana not to doubt him or his stand on Telangana. ''I am always for Telangana and I am committed to Telangana,’’ he made it clear.
``I am not aspiring to any position or post. Once Srikrishna panel gives its report on Telangana on Dec 31, then I will sort out my programme,'' the senior TDP leader averred.
