Happy Birthday to KCR
Happy Birthday to KCR

KCR, the three letters send powerful vibes in political circles and it invigorates not only his supporters but also his opponents in one way or the other. Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao is extremely popular as KCR ever since his birth, with his Leadership qualities, surprised and enthralled all the elders and teachers. Born in Chintamadaka village near Siddipet to Raghava Rao and Venkatamma on 17 February 1954, KCR has one brother and nine sisters. KCR who was active since his childhoods got influenced by the developments during his pursuit of an MA from Osmania University and entered politics.

He learned the nuances of his political journey from starting his career by joining the Youth Congress Party in the Medak district in 1970. KCR who was a diehard fan of legendary actor NTR, joined his TDP in 1983 and contested against A. Madan Mohan and lost that election. But from then on, he learned the art of politicking and won four consecutive Assembly elections from Siddipet in 1985 and 1999. From 1987 to 1988, he worked as Minister of Drought & Relief in Chief minister N. T. Rama Rao's cabinet. In 1990, he was appointed TDP convener for Medak, Nizamabad, and Adilabad districts. In 1996, he worked as Transport minister in Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's cabinet. He also served as the deputy speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly from 2000 to 2001. During his tenure in various posts, he was the brainchild behind various government policies and schemes for the benefit of the poor.

KCR seeing that Telangana was neglected and virtually crushed in all areas by other regions from other political Leaders, parties, and governments, decided to fight for a separate state of Telangana. He quit TDP in 2001 and formed TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi) and aligned with various forces and parties to find their strategies and mindset and even joined the Union Government to fight for separate statehood. He went on to become a Union Cabinet minister of Labour and Employment in the United Progressive Alliance government at the center. With nothing fructifying despite resigning and contesting and winning in various byelections, KCR decided to go on fast unto death after the demise of the then AP CM, Congress Leader YSR (YS.Rajasekhar Reddy). In November 2009, he started a fast-unto-death, demanding the introduction of the Telangana Bill in the Indian Parliament. After 11 days of beginning his fast, the Central Government said yes to Telangana as a separate state

KCR with his wily political strategies ensured that the state of Telangana is formed and the dreams of the people of Telangana are realized finally which was not realized even during the heat of two Telangana movements earlier during the 60s and 70s. KCR is hailed as Telangana Gandhi and as the chief architect of Telangana, he won two successive elections. KCR is known to take the bull by its horn and ensured that it has no opposition in the state. He implemented many political and government schemes which other state governments across the country are now implementing. Telangana under the regime of KCR is becoming a role model for the entire nation. In order to replicate the Telangana model of governance across the country, he turned his TRS into BRS (Bharata Rashtra Samithi).

KCR government implemented KCR Nutrition Kit, Mana Ooru-Mana Badi, Dalita Bandhu, Rythu Bandhu,Rythu Bima, Kanti Velugu,KCR Kit, Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha,Harita Haram, Kalyana Lakshmi/Shadi Mubarak,Arogya Lakshmi,Aasara Pensions,Housing for Poor,Land Distribution to Dalits,Rice Distribution, Strengthening the Security Apparatus,SHE teams,Sheep distribution,SOFTNET,Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge,T-Fiber,WE Hub – Women Entrepreneurs Hub, T-Hub and others. KCR's proactive approach put Hyderabad and entire state of Telangana on the fast track development with various companies preferring Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana for investment and apart from it, Telangana state became the first in the country to have the highest number of medical colleges.

KCR may breathe fire on his opponents and opposition parties and people may underestimate his level of understanding but even experts will be shellshocked at this knowledge level and with information at his fingertips he keeps everyone on tenterhooks and ensures that he doesn't sleep unless he gets the desire results. The Cinejosh team wishes KCR a memorable Happy Birthday and wishes many more to come in the future he realizes his political dreams and aspirations and reaches new heights in his political career becoming a role model for other politicians across the country.
