When the House met for the day, both the parties introduced adjournment motions on the irregularities in auctioning liquor licences and functioning of TTD Board.
However, Speaker rejected them citing the time constraints and business agenda.Protesting the Speaker decision to disallow the adjournment motions, the members raised slogans and trooped into the Speaker’s podium.
The PRP alleged loss of antique jewellery belonging to Krishnadevaraya period and irregularities in the TTD Board.
The Bharatiya Janata Party also introduced adjournment motion on the issue of handloom weavers’ suicides. The left members raised house sites to the poor and irregularities in Indiramma housing scheme.
However, the Speaker disallowed all the adjournment motions. As the members did not relent to his appeals, the Speaker adjourned the House.
