The Andhra Pradesh Government on Thursday gave new posting to five IPS officers in the state. To this effects orders were issued on Thursday. Two senior IAS officers were also given new postings.
According to an order issued by State Chief Secretary S V Prasad, Special Chief Secretary Sripad Bhale Rao of 1975 batch has been transferred and posted to the General Administration Department while Md Shafiquzzaman of 1977 has been posted as Principal Secretary, Public Enterprises Department.
Anurag Sharma on repatriation to AP cadre from the Centre, IPS officer of 1982 batch was posted as Additional Director General of Police, Greyhounds, the elite anti-Maoist squad.
Kripanand Tripathi Ujela of 1994 batch will take over as Joint Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) in Hyderabad city police while Vinay Ranjan Ray of 1986 batch was asked to take over as Inspector General of Police (Training).
The counter-terrorism wing of the state police will be headed by T Muralikrishna (1998) who will take over as Superintendent of Police, Octopus. K Venugopala Rao (1998) has been posted as Home Guards Commandant, Hyderabad city police.
