House adjourned to Monday

Hyderabad, Aug 13 :-

  After heated  discussions on the  drought situation in the state for about  four hours, the House has been adjourned to meet on Monday. When the  Assembly proceedings   began on Thursday, the Opposition party members insisted that the drought situation in the state  be discussed first.

Responding to their  demand, Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy said he would allow it only after the Question Hour.  As assured the discussions on the  drought situation have come up after the Question Hour. The Opposition party showed resentment and displeasure over the government’s attitudes in tackling the drought.  Sensing another unpleasant situation, Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy adjourned the House for Monday.
