Hyderabad,Nov 18:The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Wednesday rejected an application filed by a petitioner,in a bid to prevent Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K Chandra Sekhara Rao from going ahead with his proposed fast-unto-death seeking a separate Telengana Statehood.Turning down the plea,the High Court said if the petitioner had any complaint or grievance against adverse comments made by the Telangana Rashtra Samiti president,he might lodge a proper complaint with the local police.
TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao has recently proposed to launch a fast-unto-death at Siddipet in Medak district beginning November 29 demanding a separate Telangana state.Describing the proposed fast as the final battle to achieve statehood,the TRS leader has called his cadre to garner the support of the people at large in the best interests of the cause of Telangana.
