CM meets Digvijay Singh over T-Bill

Amid speculations of Telangana Bill being sent to Chief Secretary Dr PK Mohanty, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar on Thursday met AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh who reached here on a two-day visit.

The Chief Minister has reportedly discussed the draft Telangana Bill and how and when it could be discussed in the State Legislative Assembly.

Earlier, Digvijay Singh was given a warm reception at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad. He was received by several Congress leaders including Rajya Sabha MP KVP Ramachandra Rao, Labour Minister Danam Nagender and MLC Mohammad Ali Shabbir. He then proceeded towards Lakeview Guest House where he would stay for two days and meet different leaders. He will also address a party meeting at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday.

Digvijay Singh also visited PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana and enquired about his health. They also spoke about the latest political situation in the State.
