Pranay Reddy Vanga Challenges Critics Over Spirit

Pranay Reddy Vanga has sparked debate after challenging film critics over their reviews of Romanchakam and daring them to “kill” Spirit. The producer made the remarks while discussing the lukewarm response to his production, suggesting critics should demonstrate their influence when Prabhas and Triptii Dimri’s much awaited action drama reaches theatres.
Pranay, who backs films through Bhadrakali Pictures alongside brother Sandeep Reddy Vanga, reportedly questioned the ease of reviewing movies compared with the difficult filmmaking process. His comments have gone viral because Romanchakam, directed by Venu Gopal Reddy and featuring Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar, received mixed reactions after its release.
Spirit is among the most anticipated upcoming Indian films, marking Prabhas’s first collaboration with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film stars Triptii Dimri, with Prakash Raj and Vivek Oberoi also part of the ensemble. The makers are keeping the storyline guarded, while the first look has generated considerable buzz among fans.
Spirit is officially scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on March 5, 2027, with production progressing as planned. Sandeep has confirmed that the film will receive an A certificate because of its intense and violent content. The project is planned as a pan-Indian, multi language release, raising expectations for a major opening.
