We are committed to form Telangana: PM

Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on Tuesday reiterated that his government was committed to the formation of Telangana.

Speaking to media persons after participating in all-party meeting convened by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, the Prime Minister said that the process of law for creation of Telangana State. "We are committed to formation of Telangana," he said. He also appealed to the political parties to cooperate in smooth functioning of the Parliament and make best use of time during Parliament's short winter session.

Meanwhile, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal told reporters that several parties have agreed to bring the Telangana Bill during the winter session and therefore, it would be tabled soon.
