Samaikhyandhra rally confronts Naidu

Tension prevailed in the city with Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, leading a rally for integrated State, trying to meet N Chrandrababu Naidu to submit a memorandum.

Police swooped down on a large scale to prevent any untoward incident. Rajagaopal’s rally was stopped by police.

Earlier addressing the rally, Rajagopal said the State would not be bifurcated at any cost and he will stall any such move.

Rajagopal had protested against the entry of Chandrababu Naidu into Krishna district after TDP said that it has no objection to a separate Telangana State. He was arrested along with his followers when they went to protest and submit a memorandum to Naidu on his entry into Krishna district.

Rajagopal had reiterated that he would submit memorandum to Naidu once he comes to the city. 

Traffic came to a standstill on the high way due to protest.
