Cine star Nandamuri Balarrishna on Monday alleged that the State has gone backwards by 30 years due to the "misrule" of Congress Government since 2004.
Talking to reporters after unveiling the statue of NTR at Punganuru, Balakrishna said that the State Government has completely ignored the welfare of people. Referring to the proposal of hike in power tariff, he said that both the Centre and State Governments have been burdening the common man by affecting hike in different charges.
Earlier, Balakrishna, his son-in-law Nara Lokesh along with local TDP leaders and fans have played cricket in Naravaripalle, the native village of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu. Since Naidu was continuing his Vastunnaa Meekosam padayatra in Khammam, members of Nara and Nandamuri families celebrated Sankranti without him at his ancestral place.
TDP senior leaders Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu and Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy also visited Naravaripalli and met Bala Krishna and Lokesh.
