New Delhi,Oct 21: With the Congress High Command still undecided over the leadership in Andhra Pradesh,Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy,Congress MP from Kadapa reached New Delhi on Wednesday.During his stay in the capital Jagan will attend a meeting of the parliamentary standing committee on finance.Speaking to the media, he said so far he did not receive any call from the Congress High Command to meet them, if they call me I will attend. But at the moment I came here to attend a meeting of the parliamentary standing committee on finance, said the MP from Kadapa.This is Jagan's first visit to Delhi after his father YSR’s death. Incidentally Rajya Sabha MP K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao is also in the capital meeting party leaders. Against this backdrop the visit of Jagan assumes significance.KVP is lobbying for Jagan and in the last one month he visited Delhi thrice.
Jagan's camp, which is eagerly waiting a call from High command, expressed their resentment over party spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi's statement that no invitation was extended to Jagan to meet party leaders in Delhi.M. Veerappa Moily, in-charge of party affairs in the state, made it clear that the High Command had not fixed a date for inviting Jagan to New Delhi. Meanwhile the war of words between supporters and detractors of Jagan is also continuing.
