Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday alleged that YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao have conspired to destroy his party in the State.
Talking to media persons while participating in an election campaign in Nellore district, Naidu said that no one could damage the TDP as the party stood for social justice and welfare of all the poor. Stating that the people in the State would teach a fitting lesson to both the parties in the by-elections, he said that politicians with corruption-background were joining the YSR Congress party.
Naidu demanded an explanation from the State Government as to why it was acting promptly on seizing of bank accounts of Sakshi Group now and trying to attach Jagan's properties. Stating that the government was taking all these steps to get mileage in the by-elections, he asked the government as to why it was not initiating action against former Government Advisor K V P Ramachandra rao, who helped Jagan in looting the State.
Stating that the Congress has no future in the State, Naidu appealed to people to vote in favour of TDP to protect the State from corruption and scams. He also demanded explanation from Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi over the IT department's seizure of over Rs 36 crore from his daughter’s in-laws residence in Chennai.
