Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday stated that the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee would not support any party in the by-elections held in the Telangana region.

Talking to media persons after thanking the Jamat-e-Islami-e-Hind for extending support to the TRS in the by-elections in Telangana region, the TRS president condemned media reports that differences exist between JAC and TRS over the supporting of candidates in the Mahbubnagar Assembly constituency. He accused 'Seemandhra media' for launching malicious campaign against the JAC and TRS to get political mileage in the by-elections.

Stating that the people of the region would show their commitment by voting in favour of those who resigned for the cause of statehood, he said that the elections would be a fitting lesson to both ruling Congress and opposition Telugu Desam Party.

Thanking the Jamat-e-Islami-e-Hind for extending support to the TRS in the by-elections in the Telangana region, the TRS president promised to give three prominent ministers' posts for the Muslim community apart from Deputy Chief Minister's post in the event of formation of Telangana state. He said the justice would be done to Muslims community with the formation of Telangana State only.

Stating there was no doubt in the election of Syed Ibrahim from Mahbubnagar Assembly constituency, who is contesting on the TRS ticket, KCR said that the people of region would elect him with a thumping majority.
