Tirupati, July 18 :-

The Praja Rajyam Party chief  actor turned politician Chiranjeevi strongly denied the statements which appeared in a section of the media  that many senior leaders are  leaving the party.  He said that  all these are planted stories without any source. ``They are particularly following this policy because this is all only a conspiracy  against me to  keep me away from the people.’’

Chiranjeevi who was in Tirupati on Saturday,  dismissed  the theory aired by some of the politicians that only two parties should be there in the state to make the Government  function properly.  According to him any party which wants to work for the welfare of the people  will  receive good response from the people.

The PRP supremo,  had a meeting with  the officials ofSocial Welfare Hostels  at Padmavati Guest House on Saturday.  He also gave a patient hearing  to the  victims who will be  affected due to the widening of the roads in Tirupati.  Furhter he went on foot in the streets of Tirupati  to find out the problems of people.

Later he participated in a meeting held at the Municipal Corporation where he had a face to face interaction with the locals on the problems they are facing.

Referring to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal elections he said  that his party would contest alone without any alliance.

Meanwhile there is a mixed response from locals of Tirupati who elected Chiru   as their MLA.  Though he  is visiting the constituency twice in a month none of the peoples problems are  finding any solution.  His visits have become like road shows  and he only poses for a few photos  with  his fans. The party workers on the other hand feel it is the local party leaders who will   be solving their problems because  they are based locally and have a sound knowledge of the  local problems.
