Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the TDP coalition government in Andhra Pradesh, painted a grim picture of the state's financial situation, blaming the previous YCP government for the dire circumstances. He expressed deep concern over the devastating floods, which have caused widespread damage and economic hardship.

Naidu highlighted the severe financial constraints faced by the state, attributing them to the previous government's alleged mismanagement and misappropriation of funds. He claimed that the YCP government had squandered funds meant for disaster relief, leaving the current government in a precarious position.

"There is no money even to pay salaries," Naidu lamented, urging the central government for immediate assistance. He accused the YCP government of deliberately diverting funds meant for crucial projects like the Polavaram project and of misrepresenting the need for World Bank funding for Amaravati.

The TDP leader described the YCP government as a "demon" that needs to be "buried" to restore order and prosperity to the state. He also warned against spreading misinformation about the Amaravati capital being submerged.

Naidu's pronouncements raise crucial questions about the TDP coalition's ability to address the state's financial woes and provide much-needed relief to flood-affected citizens. The next ten to twelve days will be critical, as the government faces the task of paying salaries, pensions, and social welfare benefits, all while dealing with the aftermath of the floods.

The blame game between the TDP and the YCP adds to the already tense political atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh. Naidu's stark warnings and the current financial crisis pose a significant challenge to the coalition government, demanding decisive action and effective leadership to navigate this difficult period.
