Adding fuel to the fire, Pawan Kalyan, currently serving as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, made comments at a meeting in Bengaluru, seemingly directed at Allu Arjun. He criticized the portrayal of heroes in films today, comparing it unfavorably to the heroes of 40 years ago who saved forests, suggesting a veiled criticism of Allu Arjun's portrayal of a red sanders smuggler in "Pushpa."

Allu Arjun, in response, made a statement at a film event, implying a willingness to go "to any extent or do anything for people he likes," a comment interpreted as an indirect retort to Pawan Kalyan.

Now, Allu Arjun's father-in-law, former MLA Kancharla Chandrashekhar Reddy, has publicly demanded that Pawan Kalyan retract his comments. Chandrashekhar Reddy argued that Pawan's statements appeared to demean Allu Arjun and suggested that Pawan should clarify his intentions. He also pointed out the irony of Pawan criticizing Allu Arjun's role in "Pushpa" while simultaneously supporting the NDA government, which awarded Allu Arjun the National Award for his performance in the film.

The situation is further complicated by a cryptic post from Naga Babu, who, during the elections, stated that those supporting rival parties cannot be considered allies. This post was widely interpreted as a veiled attack on Allu Arjun. Chandrashekhar Reddy attributed Naga Babu's remarks to frustration.

While the Mega family has not officially addressed these rumors, the public pronouncements and speculation surrounding their political affiliations and recent statements suggest that the situation is far from resolved.
