CBN, Pawan fly to Varanasi as Modi files nomination from Varanasi. Drawing a parallel between his connection with Varanasi and a son's bond with his mother, Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed his nomination for the Lok Sabha seat for the third consecutive time. Echoing his 2014 statement, Modi declared, "Neither have I come here nor has anyone sent me, Mother Ganga has called me," reiterating his deep-seated connection with the sacred city.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Modi expressed his honor in serving the historic constituency, highlighting the "remarkable achievements" of the past decade and promising an even faster pace of progress in the future.

A powerful display of unity within the NDA marked the occasion. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and several other prominent leaders from allied parties, including RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary, TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, LJP-Ram Vilas chief Chirag Paswan, and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, were present in Varanasi to support the Prime Minister's candidature.

Expressing his confidence in NDA's victory, N Chandrababu Naidu hailed Modi's leadership in bringing stability and sustainability to the nation, further emphasizing the alliance's aim for a "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India) by 2047.

Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, another key NDA ally, underscored his personal admiration for Modi and predicted a clean sweep for the alliance in Andhra Pradesh.

This nomination filing served not just as a political formality but as a powerful testament to Modi's enduring connection with Varanasi and the unwavering support he commands within the NDA ranks.
