EC slaps notice to CM Jagan. In response to this complaint, the EC has summoned Jagan, urging him to present his stance within 48 hours regarding the disparaging comments made during the YSRCP's 'Memanta Siddham' meeting. Failure to comply may result in further action against Jagan Reddy.

During the 'Memanta Siddham' public meetings held in Puttalapattu, Madanapalle, and Naidupeta, Jagan allegedly compared Nara Chandrababu Naidu to various demonic characters from popular films and levied false allegations against him. These remarks have sparked controversy and warranted the EC's intervention to uphold the integrity of political discourse.
