A panel will be sent to fill the SP posts in the respective districts. The SPs affected by the CEC's actions are Chittoor district SP Joshua, Prakasam district SP Parameshwar Reddy, Nellore district SP Tirumaleshwar Reddy, Palnadu SP Ravi Shankar Reddy, and Anantapuram SP Amburajan. The decision to transfer these SPs was based on a report from the CEO of the Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission and complaints from the opposition.

In addition to the SPs, Guntur Range IG Palraj has been removed from election duties. The transfer of the Prakasam district SP comes in the aftermath of the murder of TDP activist Muniyya, while Guntur Range IG Pal Raj and Palnadu SP Ravi Shankar Reddy faced criticism for security lapses during the Pradhan Mantri Sabha. The Central Election Commission's instructions require these officers to hand over their responsibilities to their subordinates and resign from their duties.
