Pawan,CBN blasts Jagan for insulting Hanuma Vihari. Star Indian cricketer Hanuma Vihari recently made headlines when he announced his decision to quit Andhra Cricket following a controversy over his removal from captaincy. Vihari, a 30-year-old star batter, took to social media to express his frustration, citing the intrusion of politics into cricket and inflated egos as the reasons for his decision.

The controversy stemmed from an incident during the Andhra vs Bengal match, where Vihari reportedly had a confrontation with the 17th player, KN Prudhviraj, who is also known as Prithviraj. Prudhviraj's father is a politician, and his complaint against Vihari led to Vihari's removal from the captaincy.

In his Instagram post, Vihari explained that despite leading the team to significant achievements, including qualifying for the knockouts five times in the last seven years and representing India in 16 test matches, he was asked to resign from captaincy without any fault of his own. He expressed feeling embarrassed and humiliated by the association's decision, stating that he had lost his self-respect and would no longer play for Andhra.

In response, Prudhviraj posted a story on Instagram, asserting his self-respect and denying any wrongdoing. He also accused Vihari of playing sympathy games.

Vihari's teammates came out in support of him, writing to the ACA president to express their disagreement with the decision and their desire for Vihari to continue as captain.

The controversy caught the attention of Power Star Pawan Kalyan, chief of Jana Sena, who criticized the Andhra Cricket Association for its treatment of Vihari. He highlighted Vihari's contributions to Indian and Andhra cricket and criticized the association for prioritizing the interests of a local politician over a national cricketer.

Even TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu voiced his support for Vihari, condemning the association's actions and expressing solidarity with the cricketer.

The controversy has sparked outrage and debate, with many questioning the role of politics in sports and calling for justice for Hanuma Vihari.
