Tdp-JS to come up with a common manifesto.Telugu Desam Party (Tdp) chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu has announced ongoing discussions with Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan, revealing plans for joint meetings between Tdp and Jana Sena to finalize a joint manifesto. This declaration came during a 'victory meeting' held as part of Tdp general secretary Nara Lokesh’s Yuvagalam Padayatra at Polipalli in the Nellimarla constituency of Vizianagaram district.
Addressing a sizable gathering of Tdp and Jana Sena supporters, Chandrababu emphasized the strategic impact of their alliance on the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party's (YSRCP) electoral prospects. He asserted that the YSRCP's defeat had been predestined since the collaboration between Tdp and Jana Sena. Chandrababu alleged that Jagan Reddy, in response to this alliance, was resorting to the removal and transfer of MLAs and candidates across constituencies in preparation for the upcoming assembly polls.
Chandrababu criticized Jagan Reddy's suitability for politics and cautioned voters to monitor potential manipulations of the voter list orchestrated by the YSRCP. Describing the YSRCP as a "sinking boat," he highlighted the historical significance of the Tdp and Jana Sena alliance, asserting its crucial role in Andhra Pradesh's current political landscape.
During the Yuvagalam-Navasakam Sabha, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan acknowledged the significance of Lokesh's Yuvagalam Padayatra, expressing regret that he did not have the opportunity to undertake a similar journey. He revealed the desire to conduct a padayatra but expressed concerns about the potential hardships it might pose to the public.
Pawan Kalyan also addressed the previous alliance between Tdp and Jana Sena, explaining its dissolution in 2019 due to differences of opinion. He emphasized the importance of not taking any chances this time, hinting at the shared commitment to ensuring the success of their joint efforts.
Notably, the Tdp and Jana Sena alliance kickstarted their joint election campaign in Vizianagaram district during the closing ceremony of Yuvagalam. The collaboration aims to shape the political narrative and potential outcomes in the upcoming elections.
