Chiranjeevi In The Shoes Of Mohan Lal This Time

Megastar Chiranjeevi who started his second innings with Khaidi No 150 which is a remake of Tamil film Kaththi starring Vijay became a blockbuster and provided a grand welcome to the Industry once again. After that he made Sye Ra, a biopic of freedom fighter which became successful at the box-office and won numerous accolades for his performance in the film. 

Then after debacle Acharya Chiranjeevi turned towards remakes he made Godfather which is a remake of Malayalam film Lucifer starring Mohanlal. Then he came up with a straight film , Waltair Veerayya and scored a blockbuster. Now, his next release is Bholaa Shankar which is also a remake of Tamil film Vedhalam starring Ajith. 

After Bholaa Shankar, strong rumors are spreading in film nagar circles that he has greenlit another remake. He chose a Malayalam film Bro Daddy starring Mohan Lala and Prithviraj to remake in Telugu. Kalyan Krishna of Soggade Chinni Nayana and Bangarraju fame will helm the project. While Siddhu of DJ Tillu fame is playing as other lead role. Sree Leela will be pairing up with him. While Senior Heroine Trisha is said to be seen with Chiranjeevi after Stalin. 

This project is said to be almost confirmed and is planning to wrap it up quickly so that it might get released for Pongal next year or for summer, 2024. Rumours are also rife that Siddhu has been receiving Rs 4 crs for this film. Official word and details are awaited.
