Chances For Adipurush To Enter Rs 100 Crs Club On Its First Day

Prabhas starrer Magnum Opus, Adipurush Directed by Om Raut is just around the corner with just one day to go for the release in multiple languages worldwide. It has been one of the most-awaited films due to its subject and solid star cast.

Produced by T-Series, Retrophiles, and UV Creations, "Adipurush" is based on the epic Ramayana, and stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdutt Nage, among others in key roles. The movie has been certified with a "U" certificate by CBFC with the approved runtime of 2 hours and 59 minutes.

"Adipurush" will release on over 6200 screens in India, including over 4000 screens for the Hindi version only. The advance booking for the same was opened a couple of days ago and the response so far is very good for the Hindi version which is key for the film's overall success.

The advance booking trend of the "Adipurush" Hindi version is better than SS Rajamouli's "RRR" which scored around 7 crores pre-sales for the opening day. In comparison, "Adipurush" so far has scored around 6 crores with still 1 day to go for the release. It is expected to score around 12-13 crores in advance sales in Hindi for the opening day.

RRR" opened at 20 crores net in Hindi and going by the pre-booking trend of "Adipurush", it is expected to take an opening of around 25-30 crores net. The opening might be higher considering the family audience might help boost spot booking. It will easily be the second biggest opening of the year in Hindi after Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan".

PVR INOX CEO estimated that the film has all chances to land in 80 - 85 Crs on its first day with Telugu contributing to the lion's share. He said Hindi and Telugu will play a major part in adding first day collections followed by other languages. If the word of mouth is good then it has all chances to cross Rs 100 Crs on its first day itself including all languages.
