The countdown for Mythological spectacle Adipurush starring Prabhas has officially begun. With recently released songs and trailers, the film is riding high with a positive word of mouth and it is only getting stronger by the day. With merely days left for its release, the makers announced that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has officially granted it a U Certificate.
The run-time of Adipurush is also locked and the duration of this Magnum Opus will be 2 hours 59 minutes. Reports suggest that the film has terrific VFX and stunning visuals towards the end of the second half. The almost three hour run-time is justifiable for films falling under this genre. An epic like Ramayan has a massive scale and it needs to be told with precision leaving no room for controversies. That too the film will have huge war sequences mounted on a large scale.
The first trailer of the film was unveiled on May 9 and received immense love from the audience, unlike the teaser of the film which faced a lot of backlash on social media due to subpar VFX. The final trailer which was released in a grand event a couple of days ago has taken the film to a new level building hype arround the film.
Adipurush is a mythological drama based on the epic Ramayana. The film stars Prabhas as Lord Rama, Kriti Sanon as Sita, and Sunny Singh as Lakshman. In the movie, Saif Ali Khan will be seen essaying the role of Ravana. Adipurush, directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, Pramod, and Vamsi of UV Creations. It is all set to hit the theatres on June 16 in Hindi, Telugu, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
