Nithya Menen is a Malayali actress born and brought up in Karnataka earned fame with Tollywood and acted in big films in Tamil and Hindi. She wanted to become a filmmaker and even enrolled for cinematography course in Film and Television Institute Of India, Pune. But, Director Nandini Reddy convinced her into acting. Though she acted in several films earlier including as a child actor.

Ala Modalaindi which was released in 2010 co-starring Nani became a major hit and earned her stardom. Her charming looks and refreshing performance took the audience like a breeze. The films Ishq and Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde super hot successes has made her a dream girl to many in Telugu. She always carries her role with elan.

Nithya's chemistry with Dulquer Salmaan and her act in Ok Bangaram directed by Mani Ratnam has increased her stardom multi folds and it made other industries too known about her acting prowess. She acted with NTR in Janatha Garage, Allu Arjun with Son Of Sathyamurthy and Vijay with Mersal. She made her debut in Bollywood with Mission Mangal alongside Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. 

Nithya also played female lead opposite Pawan Kalyan in Bheemla Nayak and she got applauded for her role. Her role in Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam once again proved her acting mettle. She also forayed into OTT with Amazon Prime's Breathe series.
