This award-winning Tamil director is well known among Telugu audiences for his films like Aadukalam, Visaaranai and Asuran. His latest film Vidhuthalai Part 1, a cop-drama with Soori, Vijay Sethupathi is winning Tamil audience. Now the film is getting dubbed into Telugu as Vidudala Part 1.
Makers unveiled the trailer of Vidudala Part 1. The story unfolds through the eyes of an underdog cop, who’s treated very low by his superiors and make him do odd jobs at work. Meanwhile, Police are hinting for Perumal, the leader of a separatist group People’s Army. The three-minute-long trailer focuses the cat-and-mouse chase between the cops and a group that’s hogging the limelight for its violent activities - the operation is titled Ghosthunt.
Trailer showcases Vetri Maaran's mark of intense and bold dialogues, shots. The cops cruelly attacking women and Vijay Sethupathi asking about separatism based on caste are some flashes of his trademark in the trailer. The action sequences are realistic and the drama is gripping. Illaiyaraja's background score makes an impact as well.
Along with Soori and Vijay Sethupathi, the film also has Bhavani Sri, Chetan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, Ilavarasu, Munnar Ramesh and Saravana Subbiah in important roles. Allu Aravind's Geetha Film Distributors are releasing Vidudala Part 1 in Telugu on April 15th.
