Kamal Haasan To Produce Expensive Film with Simbu

There has been news circulating in Kollywood media that Simbu's next will.be in Raaj Kamal International banner owned by Kamal Haasan. It will be the most expensive film in Simbu's career with more than Rs 100 Crore budget. Desingu Periyasamy who is impressed everyone with his debut film Kannum Kannum Kolladiyithal (Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante in Telugu) starring Dulquer Salmaan is directing this film. Billed to be a periodic action film, Simbu will be seen in double role. Simbu is back to form with Superhit Maanadu and is gearing up with his next release Paathu Thala which is carrying good hype and reports. 

Considering all these Kamal Haasan seems decided to put 100 Crore in Simbu's Project. The pre-production work is currently in progress and the team is looking to start the film sometime around the month of July. Reports also suggest that the paperwork happened very recently, and STR is very excited to do this project. It’s an absolute honour for STR to team up with a legend like Kamal Haasan and he believes this would be his most special film till date.

Simbu is currently busy with the work on his next release, Pathu Thala, a gangster thriller directed by Obeli Krishna. He is also in talks for a reunion with his Maanaadu director, Venkat Prabhu for another film to be produced by AGS Entertainment. His last release, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon was also a runaway hit at the Tamil box office. So, Simbu is slowly getting back to his form and will emerge as big star hero with the kind of films lined up.
