According to the latest, the film's shooting kickstarted today in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Vivek Agnihotri, sharing the details, posted "GM. We live for new things. New happiness. New laughters. The film will be released in 11 languages on August 15, 2023. More details about the film's cast and crew will be revealed in the coming days. Vivek Agnihotri shared that 'The Vaccine War' pays tribute to the endless support and dedication of the medical fraternity and scientists during the uncertain times of the Covid-19 pandemic."

The Vaccine War story is written on 3200 pages and 82 people worked on the script.
