Two Decades Of Trisha In Cinema

Beautiful Trisha ruled hearts of audiences for two decades. She has completed 20 years as actor in 50 odd films. From her first film Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002) with Suriya to Ponniyin Selvan (2022) with Karthi she has proven her mettle as an actor in many languages. She has proven her versatility in various roles. She was seen as a sidekick for Simran in Jodi way back in 1999. She got her first break with Vikram Saamy in 2003. The 2004 marks biggest turning point in Trisha's career she shot to fame both in Tollywood and Kollywood that year with Prabhas Varsham and Vijay Ghilli. Then there is no turning back for the queen of hearts.

Trisha perfectly balanced both Telugu and Tamil industries by featuring in Superhit films constantly. She also raised bar with each film both performance and looks wise. Thirupaachi, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, Athadu, Aaru, Pournami Aadavaari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule, Krishna, Abhiyum Naanum, King, Namo Venkatesa are some of her biggest hits with top heroes. She always stays on top of her game. Her role as Jessie in Vinnaithaanri Varuvaaya made everyone realise how matured she is as an actor. She did only one film in Hindi, Khatta Meetha with Akshay Kumar. After that her career saw many lows but Trisha made consistent effort in delivering her maximum whatever comes her way.

In recent years Trisha is more into performance oriented roles. She even did a villain role in Dhanush Kodi. No one can forget her as Janaki in '96. She also made a stunning comeback as princess Kundavai in Ponniyin Selvan : Part 1.
