Venkatesh Daggubati known as Venkatesh is celebrating his 62nd Birthday today. He was born on 13th December, 1960. He is the elder son of Legendary Producer D Rama Naidu. Venky made his debut as a Hero with Kaliyuga Pandavulu in 1986. Then he tried hard to create a space for himself among young heroes Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna and Nagarjuna during that time. Though he has tried and scored Superhits in numerous genres like Srinivasa Kalyanam, Brahma Puthrudu, Swarna Kamalam, Prema, Ontarie Poratam, Two Town Rodwdy, Bobbili Raja, Coolie No 1. But, a major breakthrough in his career came with Chanti. The Industry Hit film has changed his career course. 

Since the massive success of Chanti, Venkatesh filled the space of Family Entertainers. He became a dear one to families with his lovable roles and performances. Films like Sundarakanda, Abbayigaru, Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu, Pavitra Bandham, Pellichesukundam, Surya Vamsam, Raja made him a hosehold name in Telugu films.
