Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar AKA Thalapathy Vijay has completed 30 years of successful career. Vijay fans are celebrating the occasion with #30YearsOfVijayism He got introduced to film industry as the son of Tamil director SA Chandrasekhar. He introduced as a child actor in Vettri film in the year 1984. Then turned into a hero with Naalaya Theerpu in 1992. He consistently scored hits with love stories and family dramas. Many of his films got remade in Telugu. Some of them are Subhakankshalu, Gokulamlo Seetha and Nuvvu Vasthavani are notable ones. But, his major break through came with Kushi in 2000. Then followed by blockbusters Gilli, Thirupatchi, Sivakasi and Pokkiri. With these films Vijay has attained super stardom and emerged as Ilaya Thalapathy.

After a lull period with series of flops Vijay joined hands with Director AR Murugadoos and bounced back by scoring massive blockbuster Thuppakki. The successful combination again delivered a huge success with Katthi and a Superhit with Sarkar. Then Vijay worked with Atlee Kumar with whom he scored three blockbusters Theri, Mersal and Bigil. By this time Vijay has became Thalapathy and one of the biggest stars in Kollywood. His latest Varisu is releasing for Pongal in Vamshi Paidipally's direction. Vijay is also working with his Superhit Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

On the flip side, Varisu / Vaarasudu first single Ranjithame has became a chartbuster and is close to 75 million views on YouTube. The Telugu version of the song will be released on November 30 at 09:09 AM. The film is getting ready to release in both Tamil and Telugu for Pongal, 2023.
